Simulation of circuit breaker maglatch dynamic behaviour

This work includes the theory of circuit breaker construction and is focused mainly on overload function. It mainly deals with electronic circuit breakers, i.e. equipped with an electronic trip unit. The work is focused on the part of trip unit - maglatch of trip unit. For the purposes of simulation, the geometric model is created. Maxwell program is used for the simulation. The work describes the options for conditions input which are necessary for simulation. Using the distribution of magnetic field intensity and magnetic flux density in the section of trip unit maglatch is determined by the simulation. Furthermore, the force effects acting on the armature of the maglatch are calculated. Force values and the directions acting on the armature are determined by changing the simulation parameters - shift of the armature and coil current. Simulations are performed both for steady-state and for dynamic simulation – movement of armature is taken into account. The supply source for the maglatch is created by an external circuit.

In this Thesis, structure and dynamics of paramagnetic complexes for medical application are studied by Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR). It focuses mainly on development of contrast agents (CA) for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) which is one of the most effective radiodiagnostic method nowadays. Most of the MRI CAs contains paramagnetic complexes of d- and f-metal ions. The presence of unpaired electron in proximity of NMR active nuclei has two main effects: paramagnetically induced shift and paramagnetically induced relaxa- tion. Both processes can dramatically change the NMR spectrum and often make it unobservable at all. Nevertheless, in many cases, acquisition of such spectra is possible and sometimes even less time-consuming than observation of diamag- netic molecules. Enhanced T1 relaxation allows faster pulse sequence repetition and increased chemical shift dispersion may lead to resolution of originally over- lapped signals. Moreover, the analysis of paramagnetic effects can provide useful information about the structure and dynamics of the studied system. Theoretical background of these effects is described in the Introduction of the Thesis. Title: Evaluation of the dynamic postural stability of competitive epee fencers. Objectives: The aim of this work is to objectively evaluate and compare postural stability of fencers by Neurocom EquiTest computerized dynamic posturography. Methods: The work has the character of a quantitative observational study, the aim of which was to assess and compare postural stability in sport fencers. A total of 63 probands took part in the research. The experimental group consisted of 9 fencers and 7 fencers in the age range of 20-29 years (average age = 24.19, SD = 2.70). The remaining 47 individuals formed a control group (23 men, 24 women, mean age = 25.22, SD = 2.20). Postural stability was assessed using a Neurocom SMART EquiTest. A complete range of 7 tests was used - Sensory organization test (SOT), Adaptation test (ADT), Motor control test (MCT), Unilateral stance (US), Limits of stability (LOS), Rythmic weight shift (RWS) and Weight bearing squat (WBS). Effectiveness of Proprioception Training for Improving Balance Analyzed by Computerized Dynamic Posturography The Master thesis, based on conduction of an experimental study. The aim of this experimental study was to find out how one-time proprioceptive training can help in improving the balance. The method used for analyzing the balance was done on Neurocom as it is considered a validated technique for testing balance. Then proprioceptive training was performed for the static and dynamic stability effect. For instance, both side legs were trained and focused on the "short foot"/ "three point standing" by Janda, followed by static single leg standing with eyes open and then closed; secondly Dynamic standing by adding arm or leg movement while maintain the posural stability progressively. All based on the knowledge acquired during the Master Degree Physiotherapy program at FTVS UK. Concepts of a Fictional Character in Contemporary Narratology

The goal of this thesis is to present essential concepts of literary character in fiction as they were produced by literary theory and criticism mainly in the second half of the twentieth century. The thesis offers comprehensible comparation and reflections of individual concepts and then attempts to offer some relevant implications for conceptualization of literary character. The implications are considered in practical interpretation of a particular narrative: the short story The Death of Mr. Baltisberger by Bohumil Hrabal.
